The Jetstream range consists of high-performance atomising mist systems designed to provide effective environmental control directly at the source of the problem. Using powerful compressed air atomising nozzles, Jetstream produces an ultra-fine mist capable of suppressing airborne dust, neutralising odours, providing evaporative cooling and assisting with decontamination applications.

Available in both electrically controlled and pneumatic-only configurations, the Jetstream range can be tailored to suit everything from simple single-nozzle installations through to fully automated multi-zone dust suppression systems. Bespoke systems can be designed to meet the specific requirements of your process, with a choice of power sources, nozzle configurations and installation locations. The Jetstream range is also compatible with Air Spectrum’s environmental additives, including ODR Odour Neutraliser and ASE Disinfect, allowing one system to perform multiple environmental control functions.

Jetstream can also be used for cooling, odour control and decontamination, making it a versatile environmental control system suitable for numerous industrial sectors.
Jetstream uses compressed air to atomise water into extremely fine droplets, producing an adjustable mist with droplet sizes between 15 and 50 microns. These microscopic droplets remain suspended within the air stream long enough to collide with airborne dust particles, binding with them and increasing their weight until they safely settle out of the atmosphere.
Each atomising nozzle is precision machined from stainless steel to provide exceptional durability and consistent droplet formation. Every nozzle can be individually adjusted to provide exactly the amount of suppression required, allowing each installation to be optimised for the application.
Depending on the process, multiple nozzles can be positioned around conveyors, hoppers, crushers, extraction systems or ductwork to create highly targeted suppression exactly where dust is generated. Because the system controls dust before it spreads, considerably less water is required than conventional area-wide misting systems, making Jetstream both environmentally and economically efficient.
Why At-Source Dust Suppression?
Traditional dust suppression systems often attempt to control dust after it has already dispersed into the surrounding environment. Whilst this can be effective in large open areas, it typically requires greater water usage and may not prevent airborne dust entering buildings, extraction systems or neighbouring work areas.
Jetstream takes a different approach by controlling dust at the exact point where it is generated. Whether installed above a conveyor transfer point, inside extraction ductwork or adjacent to a crusher feed hopper, the ultra-fine mist captures airborne particles immediately, preventing them from becoming a wider environmental or occupational hazard.
This targeted approach improves suppression efficiency, reduces overspray, lowers water consumption and creates a cleaner, safer working environment.
The Jetstream Simple has been developed for applications where reliability, simplicity and safety are the priority. Operating entirely from compressed air and water, the system requires no electrical supply, eliminating the possibility of sparks and making it inherently safe for hazardous environments.
This makes the Jetstream Simple particularly suited to ATEX applications, petrochemical manufacturing, oil refineries and other processing environments where volatile or explosive atmospheres may be present.
The modular design allows multiple atomising nozzles to operate from a single compressed air supply, while each nozzle can be individually adjusted to control water output and droplet size. A compact 4-litre header tank enables direct connection to the mains water supply, while optional water-powered dosing pumps allow odour control additives to be introduced automatically where required.

Designed for larger and more demanding installations, the Jetstream Smartech combines the proven atomising performance of the Jetstream nozzles with intelligent electronic control.
The system can independently control multiple suppression zones, allowing operators to activate only the areas requiring treatment. This improves efficiency while reducing unnecessary water consumption.
A colour touchscreen interface provides simple access to operating schedules, nozzle zones and timer functions, while optional remote activation enables the system to respond automatically to external inputs such as wind sensors, process equipment, remote controls or SMS activation.
The flexibility of the Smartech makes it particularly suitable for conveyor systems, extraction ductwork, bulk storage bays, transfer points and hopper installations where dust generation varies throughout the production process.
Jetstream Smartech Features
Jetstream has been designed as a complete environmental control platform rather than simply a misting system.
For odour control, ODR Odour Neutraliser can be automatically dosed into the system, allowing unpleasant odours to be neutralised directly at source before they disperse throughout the surrounding environment.
Where hygiene and biosecurity are important, Jetstream can also be used alongside ASE Disinfect, allowing the same installation to assist with decontamination and disinfectant applications.
